Medium room

The medium chamber can store a large amount of medium. This layer is about 70 times the size of the cell layer and is used to meet the needs of cells for cell culture.

Upper metabolite dialysis membrane

The upper dialysis membrane allows permeation of nutrients having a molecular weight of less than 10 kDa, from the culture chamber to the cell compartment, and the metabolic inhibitors permeate from the cell compartment into the culture chamber and ensure that all proteins of interest remain in the cell compartment.

Cell room

The cell compartment provides an ideal environment for inoculation and collection of high density cultures. This chamber is enriched with high density cells and their intended products.

Lower gas dialysis membrane

Under static culture, the gas delivery rate will limit the density of cell culture. Cells in CELLine culture flasks can obtain oxygen directly from the bottom gas dialysis membrane to balance oxygen and carbon dioxide, increasing gas transfer rates.
