Pharmaceutical manufacturers falsify and sell fake products until approvals are revoked until licenses are revoked

The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) issued a notice on December 10 requiring food and drug regulatory authorities at all levels to severely investigate and deal with the criminal activities of counterfeit drugs manufactured and sold by drug production and operation companies. Pharmaceutical production and operation companies that counterfeit and sell fake products will be revoked the drug approval certification documents. If the circumstances are serious, the Pharmaceutical Production License/Pharmaceutical Business License will be revoked.

In the recent campaign launched by the Ministry of Public Security under the unified command to crack down on counterfeiting and counterfeiting drugs, the food and drug supervision departments actively cooperated with the inspection and found that individual drug manufacturers and a few drug companies were involved in the manufacture and sale of counterfeit drugs. In order to severely crack down on illegal production and sale of counterfeit drugs by drug production and operation companies, SFDA issued the "Circular on Severely Investigating the Crimes of Producing and Selling Counterfeit Drugs by Pharmaceutical Production and Business Enterprises," requiring food and drug regulatory authorities at all levels to verify the authenticity of drug production. Where an enterprise produces or sells counterfeit drugs, the drug approval documents shall be revoked in accordance with Article 74 of the Drug Administration Law. Among them, the use of illegal chemical raw materials production, illegal commissioned production, and discontinued enterprises involved in the production of counterfeit drugs, shall strictly according to the circumstances of the revocation of drug approval certificate documents, and revoked the "Drug Production License." For cases where verified drug companies have lease or transfer licenses for counterfeit drugs, unclear channels for knowing or incomplete procedures and still buying or selling counterfeit drugs, the Pharmaceutical Business License shall be revoked according to the circumstances.

All drug manufacturing and operating companies that manufacture and sell counterfeit drugs shall be publicly exposed; all suspected crimes shall be transferred to public security agencies for investigation of criminal liability.

The SFDA requires food and drug regulatory authorities at all levels to combine the characteristics of counterfeiting activities in manufacturing and selling counterfeit drugs, conduct inspections of drug production enterprises within the administrative regions, and focus on checking the use of raw materials, commissioning of production and processing, and the production of rental plant equipment; The company focused on checking the conditions of purchase and sales channels and the management of license certificates. All those who found violations of laws and regulations were severely investigated and dealt with in accordance with the "Drug Administration Law," and were exposed. If the circumstances were serious, the "Drug Production License" or "Pharmaceutical Business License" was revoked.
