For example, the shelf life marked on the Chinese label is May 2014, and the shelf life of the can bottom is October 2015.

According to reports, the Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has sealed up the problem of milk powder and is investigating relevant companies. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) has issued a warning notice requesting the entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies to further strengthen inspections of imported foods such as powdered milk, and inform the Australian authorities of the situation and ask them to conduct a thorough investigation.

In this regard, industry insiders also reminded that when purchasing imported infant milk powder, it is important to check whether the Chinese label attached to the milk powder can is replaced by a printed label, and whether the food name, ingredient list, net content, and production date are marked on the label.
