Winter farmer households have not run out of pesticides, such as improper storage, and often have problems such as deterioration or explosion. Commonly used pesticides are classified into two types, solid and liquid, from the external morphology. Different forms of pesticides have different requirements for storage.
Liquid pesticides should pay attention to heat insulation and sun protection, avoid high temperature and contact with the air; keep away from fire and prevent contact with oxidizing and alkaline substances, should be placed in a place that is light, dark, and cool, not dry, not with nitrates, strong acids and other substances, charcoal, and paper scraps. Keep organics together. Bottle caps and stoppers for bottled pesticides must be tightly capped to prevent decomposition. Some pesticides have their own characteristics, such as phoxim and trifluralin, which should not be mixed with alkaline substances when stored. Bottled liquid pesticides can easily freeze at temperatures below 0°C, forming a lump or freezing the bottle. It is best to use rice husks and other materials to incubate and prevent freezing.
Solid pesticides mainly pay attention to dampness and moisture, and use wooden boards or dried chaff, wheat straw, rice straw, etc. as bedding, and pay attention to ventilation and looseness. The aerosol should not be stored together with volatile, flammable or explosive materials. The temperature should not exceed 30°C.
Microbial pesticides should be stored in a low-temperature, dry environment, protected from high temperatures and moisture, and should not be stored for longer than 2 years.
