Ready to work
Choose flower-harvesting varieties and plants that have a strong affinity with the main planted varieties as flower-harvesting pollination varieties; the amount of flowers in the plant should be large, without affecting its own yield.
The suitable time for collecting flowers is 2~3 days before pollination; collecting bell flowers or first blooming, mainly side flowers.
The flowers collected from the anthers breathe vigorously and cannot be stacked. Take the pollen indoors in time, rub the two flowers against each other, and the anthers fall to remove the debris.
Take the pollen, spread the pollen evenly on the paper, and bake it in the heated kang or greenhouse at 20℃~30℃. After 1 to 2 days, the anthers will crack and the pollen will be taken out.
Pollen storage: Put the inflorescences of fresh male flowers in a ventilated and dry room at 25℃ and spread them out on white paper, and let them dry until the pollen sacs split. Sift the scattered pollen to remove flowers, branches, leaves and other sundries. Then put it in a desiccator or a container with ash, or put it in a refrigerator or cold storage for later use.
Pollen fillers In order to reduce the cost of pollination, a certain amount of pollen fillers must be added to the pollen before artificial pollination.
Pollination method
When artificial pollination is in the center of the fruit tree, when the flower blooms to more than 50%, point insemination can be carried out on the day the flower blooms. Point insemination can be carried out with a brush, rubber pencil, cigarette filter, or a pollination gun. It should be noted that when pollinating, the center flowers of the lateral and lower inflorescences should be spotted, and the top flowers of the short and medium branches should not be spotted too much on one branch.
Wall bees pollinate the wall bees when the center flower is more than 50% open, and 400 to 500 bees per acre are used.
Liquid pollination artificial pollination has a high fruit setting rate, but its work efficiency is slow. The use of liquid pollination can greatly improve work efficiency and has been widely used in recent years. It can be prepared with 5 kg of water, 15 g of urea, 15 g of borax, 250 g of sucrose, and 15-20 g of dried pollen. When more than half of the trees in the orchard have more than 60% of the center flowers open, it is the best time for the first liquid pollination. It can be sprayed once a day for three consecutive days.
