In response to this industry malpractice, many units such as the Shanghai Food Production Supervision Bureau drafted and formulated the General Requirements for Labeling of Food Flavors, which was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and will be implemented starting from October 1.

The reporter learned that the "General Requirements for Labels of Food Flavors" will regulate the labeling of edible flavor products from the industry standard, and in particular clearly specify the contents of labels on food flavor products, including the product name, ingredient list, net content, and production date. , shelf life, manufacturer's name and address, product standard number, license number, and the words "food additives" and "not directly edible."
